Our last full day in Breck

My favorite story from our trip.....the kids wanted to go on a hike so we found a trail head and began walking along a creek, winding up in to the mountain and ending on a ski slope.  When we came off the trail there was a lot of trash on the ground under the gondola and Hayden says to me, "Mommy, can we pick up the trash to help the earth?"  I told her we could walk back down the mountain and ask a restaurant for some bags and come back up if she wanted to.  They both agreed.  So down we go, we get some bags and back up we went.  We began picking up trash and as the three of us are standing together I bent down to pick up some garbage and there were three pennies right next to the small piece of trash that I was picking up.  A great way to end our visit in Breck and another reminder that John is always with us!
