Yes, that's my country girl!  On Sunday, we went to my old student Mary's house to spend the afternoon and celebrate her 18th birthday.  This family has 14 children, 8 that are adopted and 2 that are dually diagnosed with special needs.  So, this family has birds, dogs, cats, turtles, chickens and horses.  The kids had a blast!  Jack especially like playing the drum set in the basement as well as playing with the trains on the train table.  Hayden enjoyed collecting the eggs and petting the chickens, playing the drums (their oldest adopted son, Ricky, showed her a couple of  moves and she ROCKED the drums), and her favorite thing - riding the big horse.  She was a natural and sat proudly with great posture.  This family is amazing and we had a fabulous time.  The kids wanted to spend the night!  HA!  We'll be back for a visit soon.

Some of you may or may not remember, but this is the family that came to John's Denver service.  A truly great family.
